Tou Yia Xiong
Bio
Tou Yia Xiong is an illustrator from Brooklyn, with Minnesota and Wisconsin ties. His work is inspired by nature, urban design, inclusion, and his Hmong roots. He explores these themes through his distinct geometric style, which is defined by fragmented shapes, high contrast, minimal text, and a very playful approach to perspective. His illustrations often blur the line between digital and analog processes by using organic shapes and nuanced textures that have a hand-made feel. His art promotes an appreciation for nature and culture. It strives to create conversations about each other’s unique identities and the preservation of culture, stories, and the made and natural environment.

Vesi Nedelcheva
Bio
Vesi Nedelcheva, 26 and originally from Bulgaria, has been making art for as long as she can remember but only recently did she dare to consider calling herself an artist. She have always had a fascination about the world-and particularly people-around her, and an innate urge to express her observations. Throughout the years, she has partaken in every creative medium she could get her hands on—before eventually disregarding it all to learn digital art during the covid pandemic. While moving from country to country during college, she had the opportunity to come into touch with a plethora of inspiration, but little time for its practical application. Now that she has settled in New York for the time being, she has been focusing on consistent practice, trying to hone in on a recognizable style while exploring the use of colors and trying to infuse more emotion and dynamic action into her portraits.
